- HOW IT WORKS
From invoice to IRAS
How an invoice and its data travel on InvoiceNow, what you need to take part, and a short checker that points you to your next step.
How an invoice
travels
InvoiceNow sends invoices between businesses through Access Points, and reports the invoice data to IRAS. How it travels depends on whether you are sending or receiving, and whether the other business is on InvoiceNow too.
WHAT YOU NEED
A Peppol ID
Your business’s unique address on the InvoiceNow network. Ask your IRSP or Access Point provider to register your business in the SG Peppol Directory with your UEN. [IRAS page]
An InvoiceNow-Ready Solution Provider (IRSP) or Access Point (AP)
An IRSP offers accounting or finance software already connected to the network through an accredited Access Point. If you run your own in-house system, you connect it through an IMDA-accredited Access Point Provider. [IRAS e-Tax Guide paras 3.8–3.9]
